Can't get any easier!

I've been using turbotax for years and it has gotten easier to use, but I like to do a complete review to know where each number comes from and it's a bit difficult to trace the origin of some of the amounts on the worksheets. Maybe explainations of where each amount comes from might be helpful to double check that everything was entered correctly.
What's great about it: Just answer the questions
What's not so great: hard to retrace some of the worksheets

Excessive complexity made easier

TurboTax has provided an understandable approach to the complex world of the U.S. tax laws and their interpretation by the I.R.S. It incorporates changes in the laws, allowing individuals to calculate their taxes without having to perform major research.
What's great about it: Helps navigate the tax regulation terminology in a more understandable manner
What's not so great: The state version could use a bit more refinement

Overall, we are very happy with Turbo Tax. We've been using it for a couple of years now and it has made filing taxes much more painless.
What's great about it: walked us through everything we needed
What's not so great: talked about things I didn't understand
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Painless

This is the second year I've used TT, while the pricing schemes seem unnecessarily deceptive the product itself is pretty easy to use.
What's great about it: Rapid and to the point
What's not so great: Not on linux.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
