Always Fast, Always Easy

This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax. I will never go back to wasting time and money with an accountant.
What's great about it: I can do my taxes at my leisure and cost effectively
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing on highly complex situations.

Another Great Filing by Turbo Tax

Once again TurboTAx has turned the income tax filing process into a pain free and easy to complete task. Never easy than this year. Each year the product gets better, forms easier, help more proactive. LIke everything about product. Will use again for 2013.
What's great about it: Outstanding drop down boxes, easy to understand explanations, great help feature. Provides the roadmap for completing
What's not so great: None -- love Turbo Tax, have used for over ten years.

the donation part of it is great because you don't have to research values
What's great about it: detailed questions and guides
What's not so great: the point deduction on refinance shows the total amount vs the yearly amount

AWESOME way to get it done fast

Love this product .. use it every year. Makes my life really easy
What's great about it: walks through everything easily
What's not so great: I didn't get as much money back this year (but I got a raise so, that explains it)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Even when the tax return is complete, the program seeks an update. This update may change the refund amount and in the case that the return has already been filed, it's problematic as it's changing the original submission.
What's great about it: Guided questions through tax coce
What's not so great: Having an update everytime I open the program.

Tax Prep Using Turbo Tax

Overall, I like using Turbo Tax to file my taxes. Some of the information can get confusing (with some it no fault of Turbo Tax, e.g., cost basis information). I occasionally see typos in the help screens and have gotten errors, which make me a bit nervous about possibly losing my information.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Occasionally get errors and see typos

I like how TurboTax tells me exactly what is best for my situation, based on questions asked. If paperwork is organized, a fairly "simple" situation can be completed in just a few hours.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, confidence in product
What's not so great: Some explanations difficult to find for personal situations

Doing my taxes was a breeze with Turbo Tax

I know a lot of people who "get" their taxes done and pay a lot in some cases. I itemize my deductions and still consider our taxes as being a simple process once all of the documentation is gathered. That is the hard part! Turbo tax makes it so easy.
What's great about it: Turbo tax makes the process simple.
What's not so great: I have a nagging feeling that if I had a CPA do my taxes, I might get a larger refund or they will catch something.
