Frustrating Quirks

I have had two recurring problems with TurboTax over the last several years:
1. I did my kids returns and since they make next to nothing (their students) the EIC comes up and gets automatically applied. I do not think they should get this ( may just be a personal preference since they are not really on their own yet). The only way to get around it is to go into the forms and try to fix them so it stays away. Very frustrating! Can you fix this so it is optional? E.g. Do you want to take the EIC Y/N?
2. Ohio RITA tax form is getting better - this year was the best I have seen it. Still needs some work to make it easier to use.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I really liked the Turbo Tax program. I felt like the questions were thorough, yet easy to understand. I also like the multiple checks they go through to make sure there are no errors.

Finally got around tuit!!!

Turbo Tax does make the tax return process pretty easy. They walk you through all the steps one by one. I like how you can highlight certain words so you can have an explanation of things you aren't certain about. They make it easy to file and get your refund when that time comes. I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and never had any problems.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax helps walk you through the tax return process.
What's not so great: There were some catagories that I would have liked to have skipped in order to save time.

Easy Tax Software

Overrall, I love the software. It's easy to use and very accurate.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate, never had a problem with transmission
What's not so great: Sometimes it takes a long time to prepare the returns.

Nice and Smooth, No Hassels

TT is a great software to use. I've been using it for many years and has made a difference not only in my pocket book, but also because I like to keep my finances private, with TT I can do my tax returns in the privacy of my home! When a question is not clear enough, it's easy to solve by going on the TT Community Board and rest assure that your answer is there. Working with TT makes me feel confident that my tax returns are going to be done accurately and I don't have to pay high fees to a tax preparer. That's why I always recommend TT to my friends and family.
What's great about it: Almost all subjects are clear and easy to follow.
What's not so great: The education deductuion part was a little confusing.
