What's great about it: Easy to upload my UBS accounts info
What's not so great: Info on handling school costs and 529 could be easier

I can't believe I was PAYING someone to do this for me! An dthey were probably doing it with TT! When I needed a tutorial on exactly what was meant by a question, it was there! TT checked and found typos and incorrect formatting of dates, etc... At first I was annoyed by the checking thing (I'm impatient), but man am I glad it did!
What's great about it: Saved over pro tax prep, familiar with all steps, can download next year
What's not so great: ummmmmm

The walk thru is somewhat time consuming, but I highly recommend sitting with your teenage son or daughter and walk them thru step by step, so they begin to understand the process.
What's great about it: Finished a family of 6 returns in one saturday
What's not so great: Still have to pay uncle sam
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall easy to use when you have all the required information. You still have to know all the IRS rules though.
What's great about it: Easy to use for my return
What's not so great: Should not need to charge for state filing

Used Turbo Tax for the last ten years. Each year the process becomes easier and easier. I have learnt so much over the years about the tax law and that was because of Turbo Tax and the information that it provides when you have questions.
What's great about it: The step by step method was extremely informative
What's not so great: The help feature font was too small

going through turbo tax allows me to understand all the steps and deductions as i step through the process. It keeps everything organized. The reviews help catch items issed or entered incorrectly.
What's great about it: moving, multi-satates
What's not so great: pay for states filing
