I LOVE TURBO TAX

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS AND EACH YEAR THERE HAVE BEEN SOME GREAT CHANGES. IT IS SO EASY TO USE . BUT THE BEST PART IS IT DOES NOT DRAIN YOUR POCKET FOR PAYMENT.

Please explain the 1098T better. Parents can use the form info to help them file additional qualified expenses on their return for a possible tax credit.
However, the student also may need to use the 1098T info to calculate the additional taxable income if scholarship & grant monies are greater than the qualified expenses billed or paid.
This was not clear and I spent considerable time tracking down how to enter the info (and where) in TurboTax.

Another TurboTax Season

I can't recall the number of years I've used TurboTax but it surely started when this software first came to the market. Using TurboTax is light years advanced over the stubby pencil approach I had to use for years and years while doing my tax returns. I will continue to use TurboTax in the future unless the good folks at intuit do something stupid and rest on their laurels by not striving to be the best. Keep up the good work. See you in 2014!
What's great about it: Seamless transfer of 2011 data to 2012 return.
What's not so great: Occasional tendency of TurboTax to de-select previous selections.

Deluxe addition helped me so much this year with 3 1099's it was most certainly a great program to use and even better that it is an app for my MacBook Pro.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions to make sure I get back my highest refund.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Deluxe

Could not eFile due to a 5695 form glitch; though Turbo Tax indicated I could on Feb 8 I could not...I had to file by mail.
Because I work in one state and reside in another the state tax info did not carry forward correctly from federal tax...it doubled my wages.
What's not so great: no eFile form 5695. Had to override state tax info

No Taxing Experience

I am a retired CPA and find the instructions given to be easy to follow. I think none tax professionals would find this (TURBO TAX) software to be just what they need to self prepare. Great job!
