Whether your a finance/accounting whiz or not, Turbo Tax makes it ridicously easy to do your taxes (just wished it helped with my spelling) I have been a user for years and would not consider using anything else. It's just like sitting down with your own personal accountant - it asks you all the right questions and provides you with the right documents and resources to refer to. End result: I'm always confident my taxes are done right and I'm getting the max refund allowable.
What's great about it: Been a user for years, whether you're versed in finance or not Turbo Tax makes it ridicuosly easy to file your taxes
What's not so great: E-filing for state should also be free (especially if you have to pay!)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for almost a decade. It gives me the flexibility to do my taxes on my schedule and I don't have to worry about my information falling into the hands of the wrong person. I feel it's much safer than turning over all of my information to a stranger at the local tax place.
And most important my taxes are accurate. I have not had a return rejected since I've used Turbo Tax. I use to pay someone to ask me less questions than Turbo Tax does and she had my husband's ss# wrong! We discovered her error the first year we used Turbo Tax!

I have used turbotax for years and always amazed that they can translate the IRS speak into common English.

Turbo tax is very easy to follow I've been using it forever and will never try another system. They import as much info as possible each year from the previous years so you dont have to retype everything. I just love the software!

Good Experience

Easy to input information and the Questions are good for most instances. Had a problem with having someone take over note on home and having to input a 1098 and 1099 int. Was not sure how exactly to handle the situation.
What's great about it: The Questions, Input
What's not so great: Information alittle sketchy on Home Taxes when you do not own the home.
