way easier than HR

much easier than other software that i have used in the past. took me very little time to go through both federal and state. very happy with this program and will use again next year!
What's great about it: asks simple questions to find any deductions or credits

state return filing

The state return could not be e-filed because it was a round robin due to it putting a "0" in the municipal interest. Couldn't get rid of the "0" nor would it let me e-file w/o the worksheet even tho had checked not to print the worksheet.
What's great about it: easy to complete the form
What's not so great: could not e-file state return

I felt that this year was the most difficult. There were too many times that the directions were too vague or you had try and figure out what to do next. My small K-1's were the worst. This is about the 9th year I have used Turbo Tax, so it's not like I have never used a tax software program.
What's great about it: If you have a relatively simple return it's good.
What's not so great: K-1's are really hard in Turbo Tax since it doesn't import certain items in your return.

The box was misleading in that it didn't state the fee for e-file payment of taxes or that an additional fee would be charged for paying taxes with credit card.
What's great about it: Walked me through a complicated return
What's not so great: Wasn't clear on fees for state e-file or federal credit card payment charge of 2.49%

Terrific experience

To file my taxes, I no longer get stressed and cranky. I am more relaxed and able to continue dealing with my other obligations without feeling pressure. Thank you for providing an easy to use program tax program.

Made first time taxes so easy

This was my first time filing taxes by myself, and my girlfriend said that it was really easy, so I tried it. I don't know how I would have gotten through taxes without it. It would have taken me hours longer than it did.
I loved how step by step it was, and how it explained everything with pop ups. I was never out of the loop for a second.
The only thing that irked me was that when I was at the end of doing all my taxes, and the payment screen came up, I realized I was using something other than the basic TurboTax. Yes, it's my fault, but I wish I had some notice beforehand. Also, the edition I was using was not completely compatible with the e-file system in my state, which was annoying.
Overall though, this was an amazing experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: EASY. SO EASY.
What's not so great: Only showed how much it was at the end
