Fast and Easy

Turbo Tax is so easy to use that someone that is not familiar with the finances of the household could complete their return. All you need are your financial numbers and it is plug and go, Turbo Tax takes care of all the details.
What's great about it: Walks you through the details
What's not so great: Needs a quick save button

TurboTax makes it EASY

Let me explain:
The walk through interview is AWESOME especially if your a tax neophyte or someone that only does their own and maybe their parent's returns (I'm in the latter category).
It would be nice if after each section of the walk through interview had the option of "Done with Income" or "Done with Deductions", or "Done with Other".
I've been using this product for years - it is GREAT!!

Turbo Tax Rules!

For nearly forty years I did my own taxes using the old Federal and State paper forms and instruction booklets. A few times I had to correct errors or omissions and file an amended return. There was always loads of paper to keep track of, along with the need to double and triple check my work. Along the way came more work to help my three kids file their returns!
Since using Turbo Tax for the last 5-10 years, I get all the work done and completed on a more leisurely schedule, with better accuracy and efficiency. Seeing the posted "Refund Due" (or "Taxes Owed" X#!) is itself an incentive to stay on task, with confidence.

What's great about it: Separate Tax folders for family members. Easy access, inputs, reviews, etc. = Efficient & Stress Free annual task!
What's not so great: Overall, none really.

I have been using turbo tax for years and it seem to be easier every year. Love it.
What's great about it: easyily guided through
What's not so great: a little too much detailed help, tends to confuss
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

in general nice product but I do wonder why TT needs to update each time - what if I had filed in Feb instead of April - would TT have alerted me to any important updates if it is not important why update - why not freeze the software?
What's great about it: simple
What's not so great: almost too simple - having to stop and pay is a pain for the few extras - feel like I am being nickled and dimed

I love the way Turbo Tax walks you through, step by step all the forms you have been collecting for tax season... even reminds you of what you did the previous year!

I have recommended Turbo Tax to many of my friends and family. I have been using Turbo tax for a number of years now and have had no trouble whatsover. It is so easy to use.
What's great about it: Very easy to understand, steps you right through each process and asks pertinent questions on each step
What's not so great: I can't think of one thing I didn't like about Turbo Tax
