Makes me love taxes

OK, I might not love taxes, but I like how easy this software is to use. I've been filing on my own since I was able to, and the year before last, had a tax professional review what I did. The amounts were only off by what it cost me to have the pro look at it, so I consider this software sufficient to do the taxes for the level of income and investments that I have.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, convenient, not expensive
What's not so great: Not comprehensive of all deductions, not for complicated returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy step did not ask enough questions about the vehicle used for rental properties. That made a number of errors to fix.
What's great about it: Ease of moving between forms and easy step
What's not so great: If you increase the computer requirements next year, it will not fit

Been using TurboTax Deluxe for quite a few years now. Have found it easy to use. This year I'm actually having to pay taxes which is quite a bummer. Guess I made too much money and didn't contribute enough to my government TSP. But overall, TurboTax is what I'll continue to use to file my returns.

Better than CPA

CPA made a mistake on my taxes. Several years later IRS found it. I was liable for all taxes and fees and fines. CPA no help at all. If I make a mistake using Turbo Tax, it is my input mistake. The questions are perfect to help me gather all the info a CPA would also require, and it cost a small fration of the CPA.
What's great about it: Easy input
What's not so great: Can't print info on specific screens
