I've used Turbo Tax for years and I've had no problems with difficult or unusual returns. Most times everything has been explained so the average person understands the complicated laws and governmental language.
What's great about it: Explaining my state changes
What's not so great: sometimes not enough info on specific items

Can't Beat TurboTax

Been using TurboTax from your first year on market. Makes the necessary evil of filing taxes about as easy as it can be.. Only had to use professional sevice last year because of large stock sale that I could not figure out on my own. Probably wasn't your fault. Maybe a statement in your explanations to check gross income to see if stock sales may show up as income.
What's great about it: Makes the difficult easy
What's not so great: Better explanation for stock sale taxes

Got what was expected!

I recommend using TurboTax as it is easy to use, clear to understand, concise, and thorough. I have used TurboTax for fifteen years and only had one issue that could not be resolved using the program. Last year, I had to deal with a short sale of some investment property and TurboTax did not include the form I needed. I had to go to a tax professional to review and complete my return. Outside of this one issue, my taxes have always been completed correctly, on time, and with maximum return allowed. I will continue using TurboTax and will always continue to recommend it to friends. It is worth its' weight in gold.
What's great about it: TurboTax is easy to use, clear and concise.
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to maneuver from one location to another.

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. It is easy to use and give a complete product to finish a daunting task.

I felt confident using Turbo Tax. More so than another program that I tried a couple of years ago. While the steps are helpful, it took some time to fill in the blanks. I feel pretty confident that I got all the deductions that were available to me.
What's great about it: I liked the step by step instructions
What's not so great: I was unclear about pensions and SS and had to go over the help menues several times before I felt I understood.

Fast and easy to use

Having TurboTax lead me through the maze of Federal and State returns by asking simple, direct questions was GREAT! I will definitely use it again next year.
What's great about it: Just like the title says - TurboTax was fast and easy to use. Getting everything together was the hardest part!
What's not so great: There was a little confusion over the Education credits available but in the end it all worked out.
