Can't imagine taxes being any easier! I'm a lifer!
What's great about it: Quick/easy/carryover
What's not so great: Lower refund this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Beware "Free Quicken" Bait and Switch!

I purchased my 2012 Deluxe version off the TT site this year mainly due to a huge banner ad stating that I would receive Quicken free upon signing up for automatic service (auto purchase of program every year). To date I have received nothing and upon investigating find that there are many other customers on discussion boards saying the same thing. I am very disappointed that such a reputable company would stoop to bait and switch tactics and I intend to cancel my participation in the auto-purchase program immediately and buy from another retailer next year!
What's great about it: Still love the TT program.
What's not so great: Very angry that NO free Quicken provided as advertised!

Quick and Easy

We have been using Turbo Tax for several years and this years filing was easier than ever. Nothing in our lives changed and the program moved faster than before. In previous editions the vocals were distracting and time consuming. Thanks Turbo Tax for the improvements. We'll see you next year!
What's great about it: Guided me through the filing with ease.

consistant and improved

I have been using Turbo-tax for over a decade and have watched it improve into an excellent tool. I skip back and forth between step-by-step and forms to try several options, this use of the product is much easier than it used to be. There are still some places where the process does not keep track of itself (declaring I am not eligible to efile, but still urging me to do so later), but this did not affect the integrity of the information on the tax forms. I plan to continue using this powerful tool.
What's great about it: Now able to remove tried but ultimately not used forms.
What's not so great: Too pushy to make aftersales (audit defense and state efile)

Intense tax advice and detail - TurboEase

I use TurboTax every year, but I would like to know my total cost of prep and efiling when making the entries for tax prep - I also have to go back and add the filing fees.
What's great about it: thorough, easy to understand
What's not so great: extra fees disclosed at the end - tell me upfront

I have used Turbo tax before, but using it through the app on the Mac was freakin amazing! Definitely using TurboTax again next year. You guys rock it! Nice and easy fast return. Too bad I owed this year.
