Continued Competence

Have used Turbo Tax for several years, and it continues to meet all my needs for a relatively painless (except to the taxes I owe) way to deal with tax filing.
What's great about it: Easy Q&A format
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind.

Whew!!! One more year finished - for all of us!

All in all, I'm still happier with Turbo Tax than doing our taxes (1) by hand, (2) paying an accountant, or (3) having someone I know nothing about handling our personal information!!
I've been using turbo tax for many years, (over 5 just on this computer!!) and it is so nice to be able to do each family members federal taxes within the same program. This year was a bit tougher as one kid decided to work out of state during 2012 and I had to make a couple of phone calls.
What's great about it: Everything is pretty easy to locate!
What's not so great: Had to call one state for residency info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Easy to use regardless of whether you have a detailed return of just use standard deduction. It finds stuph I wouldn't have noticed.
What's not so great: Picking a nickname for this reiew was ridiculously difficult!

I have been using TurboTax for many years. I have always been impressed with the ease and the thoroughness of the process. It is easy to use, easy to understand (written for the common man, not some tax attorney) and it guides you through the whole process. I like that I don't have to re-type information that I have already submitted in years past. Overall, I highly recommend this product.
What's great about it: Really Easy to Use, Transfers information from previous versions, Guided through the whole process, checks for errors
What's not so great: none

Made a confusing situation simple!

I really appreciate the ability to ask questions or look for the FAQ to find answers to questions I had. This was the first year we've itemized medical expenses and it was something I wasn't looking forward to. Turbo Tax made it a lot easier to understand and very straight forward. I felt empowered to do it myself and am so grateful that Turbo Tax walks me through it! Thanks so much!
What's great about it: Answered and asked me all the important questions so I felt assured my return was accurate!
What's not so great: None, really.

Worked well

It worked well, however for some reason it appears two TurboTax file were created and after I completed most of the return I left the program and logged in a few days later and some how got the second file or program and I thought I lost and my work. Again a few days later I reviewed the Icons and found the one I used and all my data was there. How or why I have a second program on the PC I don't know.
Glad I went back and found all my work which I was ready to go again.

found it good as always, and a great value for the money.
We had some confusing items this year and online help and tax experts were wonderful. Will continue to use and recommend the program.

Quick and easy

Would never pay anyone else to do our taxes. Turbo Tax is easy and accurate. Why pay hundreds to have all your private information out there, when you get the same results in the privacy of your own home, and you can e-file them quickly.
What's great about it: save lots of cash
