No worries--No fear with Turbo Tax--Great Refund!!

Overall, I've used Turbo Tax for years. Some friends and family have tried to get me to try other software; but I'm pretty stuck on Turbo Tax. I know I never have to worry that I've missed anything. You've made it so easy! Thank you, Turbo Tax!!!!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use---better than "Tax Returns for Dummies"!!!
What's not so great: Would like to be able to print certain pages/info for later reference.

I"ve used Turbo Tax for many years, easy to transfer information and quickly calculate your taxes year after year. Great reminders and tips to find overlooked deductions.
What's great about it: Easy, consistent, quick
What's not so great: I know less about taxes becuase Turbo Tax does it all for me

Affordable and easy way to keep control of taxes. Too many tax professionals don't know what they are doing. Better to do them yourself and know what is going on with Turbo Tax

Quick, Painless, and Accurate

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1988 and can't say enough about the value of a rolling account from year to year, making the initial part of a return totally painless. Gathering information for input is easy using the guided process. I've never had a question from the IRS while using Turbo Tax. Their computations and reviews take care of almost all problems before filing. I strongly recommend Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Import from brokerages is a major benefit!
What's not so great: Hard to think of any.

On the Edge of Indifference

I very much like how easy and fluid switching between Guide and Forms modes has become. Given my particular use case, I also like the clarity improvement of obscure topics, such as foreign tax credit vs. foreign tax deduction.
I don't blame a private entity such as Intuit from making as much money as possible. Between state and federal tax jurisdictions, there is certainly plenty of confusion and so a nice market opportunity. But that doesn't mean that I will continue paying more every year when there are competing tax prep products that suit my relatively simple needs.

Disappointed with E-Filing

I have been a TurboTax user for many years, but this was the first year I decided to e-file. After completing everything and indicating that I wanted to e-file, and then answering several questions, I was presented witha page indicating I needed to get an IRS PIN for both my wife and me. I filled out the information for myself and submitted it only to be told that the IRS site was experiencing difficulties and I should try again later. I did and had to provide the information all over again, and received the same message again regarding the IRS site. I gave up and printed the forms to mail.
What's great about it: Ease of completing tax return
What's not so great: Filing by e-mail

Makes the Hard Easier

I remember the days of tons of paperwork, enormous amounts of time spent on checking and rechecking figures. Turbo Tax makes filing so much easier and less time consuming. I've used it for several years and the program is thorough in going through each deduction available.
What's great about it: Quick, Reliable, Saves Time, Updates, Thorough
What's not so great: Special situations may show different amounts saved than other programs available
