It pays for itself

I love it. I have been using it for years and have relatives lining up to have me help them with their taxes each year.
It is so simple that my children, now young adults, are doing their own taxes.

Read and answer.....simple as that! Turbo tax walks you through the process, asks questions and double checks your information. Can't wait for our refund! Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Walks you through the process step by step.
What's not so great: None

My first time using Turbo Tax and it was straight forward with its questions and informational answers. I would recommend this tax program to others.
What's great about it: Step by step review of all income and expense areas.
What's not so great: Nothing other than a bigger refund would have been great

Easy to Use

Easy to use software. Makes a painful experience easy. Since I have used the how to plan next year parts of Quicken, I had a refund and did not have to pay more.
What's great about it: Walks you thru it
What's not so great: Will not download Medical etc from Quicken

This is the 4th year (possibly 5th) I've used TurboTax. It seems to be easier each year and in a language easily understood even by a tax dunce like myself. Any terminology not understood is generally explained with the click of the mouse. Most likely will continue to use the program in the future unless a drastic change occurs in our circumstances requiring more in depth and someone with more knowledge and ability than I have to sort it out.
What's great about it: Was user friendly and easily understood in lay-terms
What's not so great: Really no cons as this is my 4th year of using TurboTax
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Tax Prep for Dummies

After years of paying exorbitant fees to tax preparers for simply entering in our numbers on a form, this year, I used Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax walks you through the form...you can enter those numbers yourself!
What's great about it: Imports info from Broker. Walks you through entire process.
What's not so great: Printed too many copies of similar information.
