Easy to use by older women

I am older women who is not the best at math, or computers, and I find this very user friendly. If I can use this with no problems anybody should be able to.

TT gets better every year. More user friendly. Faster. Instills confidence in the taxpayer that a complete return is being filed while all legal deductions considered. E-file is great option. Thanks
What's great about it: Easy to navigate through. Being able to go back with ease is a real plus.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

TT deluxe

TT makes it simple to fill out all the tax forms and save a lot time. Its a bit of a black box though, so you do have to trust that all the right forms are being filled out and in the right way (checking at the end would be really tedious, but possible).

I hadn't ever claimed large purchases before, so the phrasing was a little strange to me and the student loan portion had me searching through a lot of the links to figure out what exactly I could claim. Overall, it's pretty straight forward, just need to do a little digging.
What's great about it: Fairly quick and simple
What's not so great: Some of the wording was a bit confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Retired and Loving IT!

I've used TurboTax since 1989 and with Operating System changes I've found that some earlier issues of TurboTax are beyond my ability to open in later years. Saving my 2012 filing to a .pdf file seems to me has resolved that issue should I have to reopen my 2012 filing sometime in the future.
In 2009 I tried a competitive bit of software, then bought TurboTax. Will not make that mistake again!

What's great about it: TurboTax made calculating tax on IRA withdrawl a snap!
What's not so great: Still had to write a check to IRS

Easy to navigate and highly detailed

I have been using TurboTax for several years and each year it seems to get easier to use. I import the previous year and enter my data for the current year and I am off and running. The error check is great and allows you to correct any mistakes on the spot instead of making you go back through the return to correct them and then double checks again. I have never had an issue with a return I have filed with them and have always got a great return. They remind me of things thatI wouldn't have even thought of that I can take as a deduction. With its deductable built in I just keep track of the type of items I donate and the number of items and let TurboTax do the rest for me. It couldn't be any easier.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and covers all topics
