Tax time

Turbo Tax saves you money and the hassle of getting tax time done with little grief. Their easy to follow instructions make the job easy. Little or no experience with taxes make you look almost like a CPA.
What's great about it: Just have to follow directions
What's not so great: An ability to look over forms and pick out the correct info.

Everything is quick and to the point with many "ataboys" along the way. The only problem I encountered was accessing my prior account (couldn't remember my password) and I couldn't get the program to email it to me. It did give me a phone number to call and I got the help I needed from a very polite and knowledgeable representative. A good experience as always.
What's great about it: Really quick - been using this for years and it is better than ever

I have used turbo tax for many years and it has improved each year.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: It seems that the oneline version from last year would not talk to the PC version i used this year

Overall a very good program

I've used Turbotax for many years and it has an excellent benefit of keeping track of previous years entries. This was particularly beneficial when dealing with AMT. That along has saved me lots of money this year.
What's great about it: Thorough, keeps history
What's not so great: Pushes a lot of other add-ons for extra $$

Easy to Prepare

The program gets bigger and bigger each year and loses some of its simplicity. But I like the convenience of transferring in last years information and comparing the numbers with previous filings.
What's great about it: Everything is covered and It makes quick work of filing
What's not so great: I would prefer to see the line by line instruction without going online

Always Easy

Turbo Tax has always been easy for me to use and less costlier than going to a tax professional. Because of the amount of my deductions, not matter how much we pay to use a tax professional we have never had to itemize our returns.
What's great about it: Usually don't have to figure out what you need. Turbo Tax asks all the questions to complete your return.
What's not so great: Doesn't answer all your questions, but it guides to the answer on the Internet.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

More easy than not

Using this since I wasn't making enough money to have a professional do my taxes (3 years).
Not bad, but for some reason have trouble (or insecurity) about printing/saving. Must be the year between filings.
Will continue to use until I can afford to have it done by cpa (or anybody else that will do it accurately).
What's great about it: Thorough questions and review
What's not so great: Anything having to do with tax forms is terrible.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
