A great tax program for a reasonable price. You do not need to be a CPA to understand the interface, and tax lingo.
What's great about it: Great support, great interface, easy to use, easy to file
What's not so great: PDF printing

I have never been audited when using TurboTax. In fact, I have received refund each year.
What's great about it: Have used TurboTax for over 25 yrs and it continues to improve each year.

Simple But Powerful

Sometimes i.e., when e-filing, when you go "back" the program goes beyond the last screen and takes you back to the beginning of the section. This is not a huge problem but somewhat annoying.

I have been using turbo Tax for over ten years, and I would not even think of using another program. It has served me well.

Perhaps too simplified

It is possible to make this process TOO simplified. I'd prefer to see a little more of what is going on behind the curtain--how are things calculated, what decisions are being made, etc. Also, I almost missed on a good chunk of money because the program did not explain that "mortgage points" = mortgage origination fees.
What's great about it: comprehensive
What's not so great: wasn't clear in some areas

I've used Turbotax for over a decade for myself and 2 to 5 family members. I wouldn't use anything else.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: doesnt give you an easy list of potential deduction to encourage do it youreself

Simple, Easy and Reliable

After moving, I needed a new way to do taxes since we lost our accountant. 95% of everyone we spoke to, including my sister, recommended Turbo Tax. We had some reservations but lo and behold, we purchased it and have not looked back since. It is as good as advertised - simple, fast and affordable. We do not have complicated tax or income situations but I gather since we just got married that is about to change. That said, we believe Turbo Tax will have no problem accommodating for all our new adventures.
What's great about it: Fast, Understandable, Clean Interface, Everything Explained
What's not so great: Wish I used it sooner.
