GREAT PRODUCT! EASY TO USE!

I have used the purchased CD version of Turbo Tax for many years! It is very easy to use the Step-by-Step and the help information is wonderful!
It automatically transfers my previous year tax records so I don't have to look them up.
I like that I can also see whether I owe money or am getting a refund.
I cannot imagine doing my taxes any other way!

What's great about it: AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERS LAST YEARS RECORD

Entering Deductions

Turbo Tax does make taxes easier but somethings seem to be special at times for me which makes me have to dig and check out things.
I suggest to TT is to make entering deductions, income sections easier by not having to scroll down to the bottom of the page each time a new section is to be completed. I would think when the next section is due, it would be at the top or just be there to click on to go to it.

Filing the Easy Way

I have used Turbo Tax for several years but this is my first year to use electronic filing. It was a pleasant suprise to find out how easy it is to use Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax guided me throught the electronic process and explained everything to me. One thing I was uncertaint about was filing W-2 forms after sending the electronic filing. I learned that I just need to keep the originals in my tax file and only send them in if requested by the IRS. I am sold on using electronic filing for future years.

What's great about it: Easier than I thought it would be, Turbo Tax is a good guide to filing.
What's not so great: I had no propbles with Turbo Tax

I have used it for many years. My main complaint is when importing from Quicken. The categories in Quicken do not match some of the specific questions asked by Turbo Tax. I wish there were items added to Quicken categories that matched exactly the questions asked on work sheets. That way when you enter a payment in quicken, you could pick a specific TTax worksheet item.
What's great about it: I can process as statements are delivered
What's not so great: Being charged to submit CA return by e-file

I've used Turbo Tax and several other products off and on for over 20 years now. I've been a consistent user of TurboTax due to easy to navigate menus, explanations and reasonable prices.
What's great about it: easy to follow

I've used Turbotax every year since 1996. It's very good at pointing out tax savings that I would otherwise have missed. I'll continue using it just because it's so convenient and thorough.
