Have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and would not go any other route. The program takes you by the hand and leads you through the entire process, item by item. Prior to using this program I used a profesional preparer because I did not fully understand all the steps on the forms.
What's great about it: Very concise, easy to use

Can't Beat TurboTax

I've been using TurboTax for a number of years now and it is definitely the way to go. I have never had a problem with a return. I feel confident that my return was done correctly and that I have gotten all the deductions possible. It's very simple to use and takes the overwhelming majority of headaches out of doing your return. You still need to make sure you have the needed documents and data to enter but once entered, TurboTax does all the work. It covers all topics in a simple to understand format. I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: It's very easy to use and it does all the calculations
What's not so great: You still have to have the data assembled to enter - not TurboTax's fault

suprised by charges

Glad its done but would have just went in and had them done if I would have known after purchasing the deluxe version on disk due to needed extras you can not get online I was then also charged three more time before being finished....annoyed with this!
What's great about it: liked that i could do it all on my own computer
What's not so great: charges for everything, did not expect to be charged 4 different times!!
