Form 4013 - no direct deposit refund option

If you had no refund coming back from the State of Michigan in state taxes or credits, the program does not allow you to enter your bank account information for a refund you are entitled to from entering and filing the Form 4013. For tax year 2011, I had a Michigan state credit, so I was able to enter my direct deposit information. The refund amount for 2011 Form 4013 was automatically refunded via direct deposit. Again, there was no provision to be able to get your refund directly deposited if you had no state refund of taxes or credits. It would be much more effective if this feature were added to the program.
What's great about it: Efficiency and ease of use except my one issue

Smooth and Fast!

I am used to manually completing forms, and am pleased that Turbo Tax allows this to be done directly. When I am through, the final review feature returns to items needing attention, perfecting the return and reducing audit risk. Electronic filing via Turbo Tax is straightforward and quick. Great!
What's great about it: User friendly with optional input modes
What's not so great: Some state return help info (ex: "about line...") is unclear

It was great to progress through this so easily, however, finding the page to make a specific deduction was difficult. (point on a loan for rental property). I also was confused about, even though I updated the software why it still said hasn't updated to provide you with the form yet.
What's great about it: Easy to progress to the next page

All-in-all a great product. It keeps the headaches to a minimum.
What's great about it: I had not considered some of the deductions available... TurboTax Points them out. Easy to follow prompts.
What's not so great: Sometimes a bit tricky to find specific entry lines or to delete entries once entered. (finding right spot to delete)

2012 review-long and tedious

unable to look ahead through business filing forms to see what financial info and nonfinancial info would be needed and how to organize my files to make completing the forms more efficient without having to click through and scroll down way too many pages to make it practical. took far longer to complete than it should have to find info that turbo tax was asking for. such as date a vehicle was purchased 20 years ago and purchase price etc. had to dig through several old file boxes to get everything from years ago.
What's great about it: very detailed/
What's not so great: filed new area-business, could not see what info would be needed without clicking and scrolling through too many pages t

Love using TurboTax, I have used it since 2006 and I plan on continueing to use TurboTax. I love to drop down boxes that explain each area in language I can understand.

Turbo Tax for 20 years

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1994. I wouldn't dream of doing my taxes without it. Thank you for a reliable, complete solution for the lay person.
What's great about it: Lots of reminders and no mathematical errors
What's not so great: Scrolling to find buttons...
