2012 refund

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years and the product just keep getting better. The built in help functions were especially helpful. Turbo Tax 'remembers' what I have done in previous years and carries forward all necessary information. What a time saver!
What's great about it: Easy to use - excellent help.

User Friendly

Overall, a very good program. I would consider myself a tech-savvy person, and although I have always done taxes myself in the recent past, this program makes me feel secure that I have filed everything correctly and with the maximum return. I have never had problems with my returns, and have always received them promptly through the e-file service. The only thing I dislike is that they still require you to pay for the State e-file service, even though the version says 'free federal and state.' It would just be easier to include the fees in the price so it wouldn't be so misleading. However, if your finances are uncomplicated like mine (student just out of college), this program should be everything you need. I would highly recommend this program for an easy and user-friendly experience to file your taxes!
What's great about it: Easy to use, clear and simple workspace, thorough.
What's not so great: Having to pay to e-file state.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The language used in TurboTax is so easy to read, like you are talking to a friend who is helping you with your taxes. In past years, I have dreaded doing my taxes, but Turbo Tax makes it so quick and easy. I feel smart and accomplished after completing my taxes with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I love how TurboTax makes sure that you save everything, how you can see your refunds total at the top of the screen.

Over all easy to do

Sometimes trying to understand what to place in the area when using special forms was at little difficult. For example; when you spend time out of the country and trying to make sure you are putting in the correct dates was a little nerve racking. At times I was not sure if I was doing the forms correctly. All-in-all the highlighted information ques helped.
What's great about it: step by step instructions were easy to follow

This was too EASY. The time you spend waiting for a tax representative to assist you and having them trying to read the questions to you and explain what each question means you can just go download turbo tax yourself and complete your forms on your own. This was well worth the investment.

First time user!

I decided to complete my own taxes this year with turbo tax because I wanted to avoid the high cost of e-filing with other companies. I have used tax brain in the past and it was not as easy as it was with turbo tax. Great first experience and I will recommend turbo tax to my friends and family.
What's great about it: User friendly, step by step guide, error checks.
What's not so great: It took me a couple of hours to complete.

Have used TT for many years. In the last few years form 1116, which used to be a headache, has been improved by clearly pointing out errors.
