Fast and Correct

Turbo Tax rocks. Every year it get better and faster especially when it get your information from your file from the year before.

I love that my taxes were finished in two hours and my refund will be here in 2 weeks.

Bummed by unsupported Mac

I used TurboTax on my Mac computer for 6 years. It is not supported by the software anymore. Do I need to shell out for a new computer to get my taxes done. I think not.
I'm not interested in speedy calculations, just correct ones. Supporting my old mac can't be that difficult for the price I pay for your software.

Gets easier every year

Been using TurboTax for 7 years now and have never been disappointed. Gets nicer to use every year. Better interface. Intuitive and extra bonus that it remembers everything from the year before.
What's great about it: easy to use, nice user interface, intuitive

So easy!

I've been using TurboTax for three or four years and each year it gets easier. It is so nice to have last year's information transfer automatically, and to be able to login to my financial institutions' accounts to download all of my tax information. I was done in an hour, and it couldn't have been easier. I can't believe for so many years I paid a CPA!
What's great about it: automatic info transfer, financial institution download
What's not so great: descriptions of more difficult topics (like AMT) are not easy to understand

They held my hand

I was having a hissy fit when I started the process, but, gradually, I realized these people were holding my hand and guiding me along. I always get very nervous about making sure everything is correct. I really appreciated the way the little popups and comments helped me know I was moving in the right direction. Thanks!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

very disappointed

I have used this product since 1998 and have found it's quality has decreased each year. This year, I had to input same data multiple times, it did NOT give me my best return. I needed to talk to an accountant and redo the filing to get the max refund. I am very disappointed with the product.
What's great about it: can add and subtract, but the rest is wanting
