Easy to get your Taxes done

Still a great product. I'm not a professional and it only took me a few hours to do my tax return. Usually I get a refund but this year I had extra income from 2 life insurance policies that made my tax situation higher than usual. And turbo tax guided me through it all.
What's great about it: Easy guide is wonderful
What's not so great: Need more inormation links for rental property area

Handled my hobby farm and home interest, a big help on depreciations.
What's great about it: Helps you keep it clean to avoid those Audits
What's not so great: Yes you still have to gather your receipts to support your filing

Turbo Tax

Overall pleased and continue to use it for several years now. I also filed my son's but it didn't recognize that he was my son which i found odd since he's my dependant and he is also a minor.
It estimates next year's tax payment and printed vouchers. I'm not sure what to do with them? I assume this mean it estimates I will owe taxes next year? I think it could do a better job explaining what this is about and why.
What's great about it: it knows what to do! Efile is great, does both fed and state
What's not so great: can get lost easy, not sure what i qualify for, doesn't explain why I didn't get the child tax credit

Quick and Easy

Turbo tax is the most efficient way to get taxes done without missing any vital areas. I have tried other programs and none are as complete and easy to use as Turbo tax. Also very easy to e-file and print copy of forms.
What's great about it: walks you thru the federal and state forms in very organized and efficient manner.
What's not so great: Wish the deluxe program had a little more on investment income. Premier program is much more than we need.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I am pleased with how fast and easy filing with TurboTax is (minus the call to customer support to get the updates to download).

I really like the way TurboTax guides you through all required input. I especially like the way it imports all info from the previous year and from ItsDeductible; I am able to claim more than I would have imagined for the clothes and items we regularly donate. I highly recommend this product!
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate and understand all required input
What's not so great: Don't like having to pay to efile
