Great for a quick return

We have used TurboTax for 5 years. It is always fast and easy to use. Sometimes the explanations can be confusing when trying to understand certain deductions. Especially the education, but 2012 seems to have really become more clear on the education expense deductions. Errors are checks for at multiple points. Sometimes I think that skipping entire sections could lead to missing a deduction or two, but a few dollars for quick and easy tax return is a trade-off I'm willing to make!
What's great about it: Fast, easy, double checks
What's not so great: Seems to overlook some things
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TurboTax for several years and feel that it simplifies doing the taxes every year. I like it because I can easily get the best refund that I am due. The only thing I would change is that it doesn't always clarify why you are not getting a deduction etc. For example, this year I entered items for business expense and tax preparation expense. It seemed to accept the deductions, but then on another page when it compared last year and this year the deduction showed $0 for this year while it was $792 for last year. I figured it out when I reviewed the actual 1040 form (PDF), but it would have been better if it was explained more clearly at the outset. Overall I love it though because it makes doing the taxes so easy.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Didn't clarify issue

The best thing is once you use TuboTax the following year it imports all that data from the previous year so you don't have to start over each year. That is just great and a reson why I'll never change programs. That by itself can save you a couple of evenings at the computer on a detailed return.
Remember your buck stops on the screen to rest before you and TuboTax decide if it needs to continue on to the IRS.

What's great about it: Clear and to the point.
What's not so great: I still have to enter the data but the program makes it very easy.

Best software out there

I've been using the Turbo Tax for over 10 years and it's always been the easiest way to file my taxes. It's always thorough and each section is well-defined. I've never had trouble understanding any of the questions or tax situations. It's Deductible is a bonus. It takes all the guesswork out of estimating the value of donated items.
I recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who wants to file their own taxes, and to anyone who pays a service to file their taxes. There's no reason to pay more when you can do it yourself for the fraction of the price.
I've been through a lot of changes (marriage, kids, unemployment, school, etc.) and this program has worked for me every time!
What's great about it: Easy and thorough
What's not so great: no complaints

Will alway use Turbo Tax!!!!

Turbo tax is user friendly and all you have to do is plug in the numbers, although the export feature can use a little work, it still is the only tax program for me and my entire family!! No other tax service or software will do. I have been using Turbo tax for a few years and I just cannot see me using anything else, no way, no how. There is no other way to go than Turbo. Turbo jet, turbo Beetle, turbo refund, Turbo Tax!!!!
What's great about it: Turbo is the only way to go!

I would like to see new deductions, credits, etc. highlighted so I wouldn't have to review the info on them every year unless it's new.
What's great about it: Picked up CASDI, which a CPA missed.
What's not so great: Too many questions. Takes so long to do taxes.
