Another great year using Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax since I retired from the Navy. In the very first year, it found a number of deductions on my state filing that I did not know of. My home state while I was in the Navy does not have state income tax. Since then Turbo Tax keeps me up to date on the changes and helps me avoid any deductions I might miss.
What's great about it: Easy and throurgh

Good but needs improvement

I have used the product now for at least several years. I would like to see more explanation how certain numbers are derived.
What's great about it: Ease of preparation
What's not so great: need to manually enter prior year state refund details

What's great about it: easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: When I don't have the answer it's not always easy to understand the "help" link.

Forms View Not User Freindly

direct value entry should be made easier not using work sheets to enter values. And once entered update needs to take hold immediately not after sign-on

Had to "confirm" a setting many times...reentering an "n" in a 1099-r form to assure the system that I really did intend what I'd entered and confirmed several times before.
What's great about it: good work as always
What's not so great: Quirky at times
