I love turbo tax. I will continue to use it for years and years to come. I also recommend it when people ask me about my taxes.
What's great about it: it's simple, it's well organized, it's perfect.
What's not so great: none i can think of

Great, but...

I'm a long-time, loyal Turbotax user (since 1996), and I'll keep coming back, but...
This year's handling of foreign tax credits was a complete mess. I finally had to Google the issue to resolve the resultant errors. Go ahead...Google "turbotax foreign tax credit 1116 problems". Yes, this a complicated section of the tax code, which means Turbotax should spend extra time helping out their customers with more intuitive guidance.
What's great about it: Generally gets better every year
What's not so great: Foreign tax credits section is a disaster

Turbo Tax is a good easy and inexpensive way to file your taxes. It walks you through all the tax situations and helps you get the most out of your return.
What's great about it: Easy and inexpensive
What's not so great: some of the tax language and situations may be confusing

Used TurboTax for many years now, and used the other software as well. TurboTax is better, and the year to year carryover of data is a terrific timesaver. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Intuitive, easy to use.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for a few years now. I have been able to save myself, my kids and several other family members hundreds of dollars by using Turbo Tax in lieu of all of us paying "professionals". I have recommended Turbo Tax to just about everyone I know.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use and understand.
What's not so great: Needs to be a little clearer on the HSA information.
