Once again...

I have a fairly simple return with itemized deductions. The only trick is an ever increasing array of small dividend checks from various holdings. TurboTax makes it easy to manage all these annoyances.
Pulling in last year's info and transfering most of what's needed for the state return let me do my taxes this year in about 2 hours.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: No real issues

Bang Up Job

Turbo Tax has made it easy to file my own taxes confidently for the past 10 years. I know I'm not forgetting anything, and I can trust that everything ends up on the correct form. It's like connect-the-dots for taxes. The e-file option makes it even that much simpler. I will keep coming back.
What's great about it: Quick and easy - clear explanations when I needed it. Felt like a tax map...just follow the yellow brick road.
What's not so great: Can't upload taxes that were saved as a PDF.

Turbo Tax says it all - fast tax filing!

Turbo Tax is SO much easier than filing manually. I have used other programs, tax professionals and online programs but I prefer to buy Turbo Tax and keep everything together. So easy to use, very little for my "pea brain" to have to know in the way of tax laws as they are all spelled out for me. The program figures what forms I need to file based on my previous answers so I don't have to figure whether I need to itemize, file separately, etc. When I went to a tax professional I still had to gather all the paperwork and even add up some of my proposed deductions - the same as I do now with Turbo Tax. So why pay the high fees for professionals when you can purchase Turbo Tax for less money and file your own returns?! Sure makes tax time less stressful!
What's great about it: The hardest calculation you have to do is ADD.
What's not so great: I'm used to seeing the forms as I manually fill them out and I don't see that anymore.
