Extremely Helpful on an Unusual Situation

We are married filing jointly and took a regular distribution of a pension that was part of a divorce decree; instead of rolling it into an IRA and for many other reasons, we chose to use the income to pay off some old debt that was costing us 18% to 22% monthly interest. The added income shot us into another tax bracket. Turbo Tax Deluxe walked us through several options and helped explain the effects on our taxes. Very Helpful!

1) Software not ready to print IRS form 5695
2) Does not request entries to lines 20 a-e on 5695, consequence is that you are allowed to claim 2012 energy credit that may be disallowed due to having previously exhausted this credit in prior years.

Doing taxes isn't fun, by any means, but TurboTax takes the difficulty out and asks about everything.....then a person can sleep at night. Confident taxes are done correctly and no night-mares. Thank you TurboTax. ps, I am 77 years old and retired

We sold a house & moved! Turbo Tax made it SO EASY by walking me through eveything just by simple questions instead of tryng to figure out what the IRS wants with their difficult directions.

My PC rebooted and TT did not resume where it left off. Since you know my state, use it for all questionings (i.e. is my vehicle registration deductible, etc.).
But seriously - auto-save!
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Good walkthru's.
What's not so great: Could use an auto-save feature.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and this year I had several problems with it. From installation to finding the correct forms and deleting forms that were created that I did not need. there was a form 321 that got created that I did not need. the calculations it had spread into other forms. when I deleted the form, it did not delete the numbers it populated into the other forms. I spent a conciderable amount of time correcting the other forms before I could submit. Not to mention that the energy form is not ready by the IRS until late this month or March,
