Easy and convenient

Turbo tax is user friendly that anyone could use it. It calculates for you and takes the guess work out. Each return is easily saved for future reference and info transferable from year to year. You don't have to be a math whiz Turbo does it all.
What's great about it: It calculates and keeps up with updates so you don't have to.
What's not so great: State return filing not included in initial cost of software; like the federal return.

Use it every year

I've used TurboTax for a very long time now. I tried using TaxCut for a year or two, but didn't find it as easy or friendly as TurboTax.
Keep up the good work. I would like to see you integrate better ESSP calculations in to this though. It wasn't bad, but not as easy as some other things.

I remember going to one of those "Tax Experts" last year, they took so much of what was supposed to be MY money. This year I used Turbo Tax and I'm glad I did, so fast and easy. But the best part is getting to KEEP the refund!

I'm 80 and ff I can do the filing at home, so can you other senior citizens!
What's great about it: Easier to do at home

a great casserole that needs a little more spice

i've been using TurboTax for several years now after a competitor stopped producing a Macintosh version. I have never gone back.
my Mac is too old this year to use TT, so my wife and i got the Windows version. seems to be exactly the same, so there wasn't a learning curve.
i found out that it's easy to get confused between the software and the online form, i especially needed better navigation to ItsDeductible. i accidentally used the online ID only to find out what i had entered could not be transferred to the software.that information had to be reentered. there should be clear navigation to certain tools, like ID, and some warning that the the online form is being used when the software is also being used. that warning should offer to redirect to the proper tool.
i'd also like to be able to use a "Find" function. my review of the forms show an incorrect work phone number was listed. when looking for how to correct this i was told it was information listed on the Federal Form, but didn't show me where to find it.
i recommend TurboTax to my friends, but in my opinion it's not for the computer illiterate.
What's great about it: makes it easy to move through the sections, great explanations
What's not so great: some confusion when using ItsDeductible, couldn't find some answers, couldn't search for a specific item in the forms

Quick and Simple

Started using Turbo several years ago after many years of filing by hand and the tedious reading of the booklets they used to send. This was wonderful and detailed and convenient! I appreciate the double checking throughout the process to make sure you get the best refunds and the review covers anything you might have missed!
What's great about it: Keeps info from previous years, checks all the possible credits and deductions
