Every Year Works Like It Should

I've used Turbo Tax to prepare my taxes since 1994. I have a couple of schedule C's and lots of itemized deductions. Since I use Quicken to track my expenses, it usually only takes me 3-4 hours to finish my taxes from start to filing.
I've never run into the AMT nor have any odd tax situations. However, turbo tax has worked well for me for the last 20 years.
What's great about it: Ease of Use/Question & Answer Interview Format
What's not so great: Sometimes questions weren't clear of what was being asked
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy Tax Return

This is a much more structured way to do taxes than on my own. I intend to keep using Turbo Tax in the future.
What's great about it: Online help was very useful
What's not so great: Some features weren't obvious
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I USED TURBO TAX FOR THE 5TH YEAR IN A ROW. ALTHOUGH I HATE DOING TAXES EVERY YEAR, TURBO TAX TAKES SOME OF THE STRESS OUT OF IT. I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY RETURNS AND THE ADVICE IS GREAT. THANKS TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: SAVE MONEY OVER USING TAX PRO, WORK ON YOUR TAXES AT WILL

Turbo tax is easy to use and the autofill feature saves lots of time. My taxes are relatively simple but I like the fact that the calculations are correct. when I did my taxes by hand I always had to double check my math. I also like the updates that ensure I have the latest changes. It is also good to have copies of the worksheets and schedules. I'm not sure these would be easy to find. I remember the town library would have the paperwork but now I'm not sure where I could get all the forms. Someday I hope to feel comfortable e-filing.
What's great about it: I liked the automatic transfer from last year's return.
What's not so great: I'm not sure I picked out the right version of Turbo tax

I just filed my 12th taxes using Turbo Tax. I am just as please today as I was the first time I used Turbo Tax. Very easy to follow, very clear instructions and solid software.
