EASILY DONE

Great for Federal taxes. Not so good for Ohio school tax. I got conflicting information. One form said I owed $452 and another said I had overpaid by $112.00. This does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Program does not automatically transfer military retirement receipts onto all the correct places.
What's great about it: Step by step walk through
What's not so great: Ohio school tax form has me worried

Gets easier every year!

As the IRS makes it more difficult to track the changes year to year, Turbo Tax makes it easier than ever to fill in the info and produce a perfect, stress-free return! My life has gone upsidedown with the death of my husband a couple of years ago, my daughter's in college, I lost my job, found another, collected some of his pension money, it couldn't have seemed more complicated, but Turbo Tax sorted it all out, step-by-step.
What's great about it: Just answer the questions and your return is finished!!
What's not so great: none!

I have used the program for multiple years with good success. This year I did experience an error within the program that was easily corrected using the manual correct feature
What's great about it: Easy to use by asking simple questions
What's not so great: Still had some program errors/glitches

have been using Turbo tax for many years. i recommend the auto order each year. i don't have to worry about going out and buying the software, it conveniently shows up annually. it is the easiest way to do the dreaded chore of taxes. i'll be a user for life
What's great about it: easy step by step process, clear explanations, good help topics
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Each year, I've noticed enhancements to the functionality and look-and-feel of the software. It's very intuitive and the interview format is very logical and provides assurance of completeness of input. Error checking is great! Last, but not least, the Audit Defense service is a wonderful feature.
What's great about it: Very user-friendly; loved the data import and transfer features
