I have been a happy customer since 1992. It has served me well. The only changes I would recommend are simple. When going through easy step deductions allow a quick opt out for each section. Also when using on a laptop you have to scroll down to hit the continue button. Consider having button on top of page also.
What's great about it: Easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: Easy step locks you in to every question even if they dont apply.

Not a tax minded person at all...gave it a try several years ago upon the recommendation of a friend who had been using it for years and helping people with their taxes. Have continued using it because it is so simple! Walks you through everything!
What's great about it: Very simple...explains every step. Cheaper than tax prep places.

couldn't e-file

I've done our taxes for many years with Turbotax and this year no matter how much I reviewed and checked, it would still not let me e-file either fed or state. I'm highly disappointed, and I feel like I'm compromising my security by having to paper mail my information. How about a refund?

Resolved my issue

I have used Turbo Tax for years without any major issues. This year (2013) had a issue inputting credit card information to pay for state (KY) Called the help desk and they resolved the issue very quickly and professionally. My cell phone is hard to hear at times and the rep from Turbo Tax hung in there with me until he resolved my issue.

Easy to follow, explanation boxes were easy to understand, the Fed and State reviews caught inconsistancies that would have held up the return.
What's great about it: Easy and quick and the federal return was free.
What's not so great: Had to pay for the state return.

Easy and Simple to Use

I have used TurboTax for a decade. The competitor's package was not easy to use and left a lot to be desired. I had expected to owe this year, but instead I have a refund coming!
What's great about it: Straightforward, no confusion
What's not so great: had to buy it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Over all, Turbo Tax is great application. It is simple and easy to use on all forms. I like it.
