The Difficult Made Simple

I found Turbotax easy to navigate. As my tax problems are on the minor side, it was really no great effort. The one main difficulty I experienced was the slow delivery of documents from institutions. This made an early return impossible. All in all, this was a positiove experience. Thanks. JDC
What's great about it: The steps were easy to folow and included all aspect of my return.
What's not so great: There was income from a tax shelter that I had difficulty entering. It was resolved later.

Disappointed with Turbo Tax...

Was VERY disappointed with TT this year. I have been ready to file for over a week and couldn't. This was because of a software problem, not an IRS form problem. Intuit knew of this problem and chose to wait until their normal update schedule rather than issue the fix ASAP. I will be looking for another program next year after using TT since 2004.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Took over a week to fix THEIR software

2012 Tax time

Probably the best experience I've had doing my taxes. The compatibility with Quicken and itsdeductible make this a no-brainer to use.

TurboTax Continues Being Great Year After Year

TurboTax 2012 is another great application. This is my 3rd year using TurboTax...before that I used an accountant. I find TT is simple (just as easy as what I had to do to get ready for my accountant), quick (faster than my accountant ever was), and MUCH more affordable.
I like the constant error checking, along with the option of Audit Support at a very affordable price.
Overall...can't beat the value.
What's great about it: Easy To Use...Lots of Self-Help...Error Checking...Online Submission
What's not so great: Locked Up When Trying to Save Return

Lots of good, one bad

I've used Turbo for many years and have had few problems until this year....I will not print the forms from the program. If this remains an issue next year I'll look around maybe other programs are as good and allow printing from the program.
What's great about it: movement through the forms, ease of use
What's not so great: It will not allow me to print from the program, have to go to PDF

PROBLEMS WITH VIRGINIA STATE

There was a problem to start my VA taxes...I had to reset my computer in order to do it....I got the solution from the taxes community section...everything else was fine..thxs
