Turbo Tax is Da Bomb

Very easy to use and very detailed. Will import past years records saving lots of time. Highly recommended. Took less than 2 hours and I could do other things while working on my taxes.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: I owe money :(

Income situation was different last year so I expected to have a more difficult filing. Turbotax made it easy.

Easy to follow, review and explanations for any ?s

I've used Turbo Tax in my household for over 5 years now both for my individual taxes and daughter's taxes. The way it is set up it is easy to follow and all questions are answered as you go along. I also like how you can go back to complete taxes if you don't have time during the first try--it takes you back to right where you left off. Great product.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions and answers to questions
What's not so great: It works great for me--no problems
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2012 Turbo Tax Review

Everything went smoothly except for the inproper linkages with the K-1 forms. 2 years in a row that it took me several days to get past.
What's great about it: Most topics flow with logical sequence and easy entry
What's not so great: Handling of K-1 forms and improper linkage is a disaster

I am 75 years old. TurboTax helps me turn a stack of paper into neaat organized stacks as I follow step by step the logical way to do your taxes.
I started with a big pile of papers from banks, contracts and receipts. As TurboTax started a section, I pulled all the papers I needed to complete that section.
It made it easy to get my own 'piles" organized. At the very end I found a contract that had a large amount of sales taxes paid and TurboTax took me to where I needed to go to add the numbers correctly.
I am not a tax expert by any means. The guys that designed this program did it with people like me in mind. Great product.

I have used Turbo Tax since it was on 5.25 floppies. it has always been easy to use and printed very well. Never disappointed.
What's great about it: Never Difficult
What's not so great: Wish there were different levels of the step process, not the same for beginners and experienced users
