Use it every year

I use TurboTax every year and have always found it easy and efficient to use. I bought the Deluxe version this year and really liked it. Will continue to use TurboTax every year because it makes an otherwise onerous task...not so bad!
What's great about it: So easy to use
What's not so great: Love everything...don't have any "cons."

Very easy to use for a fairly complex return

As an airline pilot my return has several extra forms required to maximize deductions. Turbotax is the standard filing software so the service I use to calculate Dept of Transportation deductions included and easy to follow instruction sheet to integrate my forms into Turbotax.
I completed my taxes at home in a couple of hours instead of having to drive to my CPA and then pay him several hundred dollars just to fill in the proper forms.
Way to go Turbotax!
What's great about it: Easily switch between forms and 'Easy' question and answer session
What's not so great: Didn't catch a required box that was skipped until I filed, then it caught it just prior to transmitting it to the IRS.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Filing taxes is always an emotional thing and when the program inhibits you to move about to make changes it gets emotional. Most of the time you feel in control, but going back to change things after you are ready to file is not user friendly.
I liked the ability to project the amount of my next years estimated tax, but you removed that option.
What's great about it: Data entry easy when you get used to it.
What's not so great: Not easy to make changes after you print for review

Great experience year after year. Downloaded program makes life easier; no disks to look after; no problem if purchase a new computer
What's great about it: easy to use; prompts for topics I might have forgotten
What's not so great: sometimes couldn't get where I wanted; seems to get more expensive every year

TurboTax is my accountant

When working on income and deductions, I found the Explore on Your Own feature the fastest way to enter new information and verify what I had already entered. The help features keep getting better year after year.
What's great about it: Choice to explore on my own
What's not so great: None

We have used Turbo Tax for over thirty years now. I won't file any other way. I do think that loyalty to the product should be rewarded.
What's great about it: Always asks the important questions.
What's not so great: Can be confusing at times.
