So far I have been happy with Turbo Tax. I plan to use it next year too.
What's great about it: simple and quick..very automated

Last Time I Use TT

TT offered me a complimentary download version when we realized via telephone support that my Costco CD version would not update the education expenses on the fed taxes. The downloaded version lacked bells and whistles, and the user friendliness I am accustomed to with TT. It then would not update or let me file my CA taxes saying that forms were not ready yet. Funny thing is, every time I checked with the IRS and FTB, those forms were long available. Then TT would send me an email saying forms are ready. I would go back in and try to file only to get the message that I could not file yet! This is the last year I purchase and use TurboTax!
What's great about it: The original Deluxe version on CD was great until...
What's not so great: Neither the CD nor downloaded versions of TT would update

great product, some things need to be easier

certain business expenses need to be easier to find such as mile reporting for work vehichles.

Positive Review of Turbo Tax

We have used Turbo-Tax for the past 9 years and have not had an audit. We are thankful that it is so easy to use. Thank you.
What's great about it: Ease of filling out the return
What's not so great: It was difficult to find help when I needed it.

Pretty good, still a couple of glitchy things

1. I don't want to give you my name & address. I don't like that I have to tell it "NO" every single time I open the file.
2. It didn't offer to put the bank routing information on my state return. I had to fill that in myself.
3. Mortgage points were very unclear. It looked like it planned to deduct the whole thing in one year, which would be wrong.
4. it appears incapable of determining the codings for Oregon Cultural Trust on the Oregon forms.
5. It really wants me to answer ALL the questions about a topic, even though I've answered them before, and am just revising numbers. (I suppose this is good, but it's irritating)

Great Product!

I have used TurboTax for 5 years and have never had a problem. From start to finish the step-by-step format is intuitive and thorough. It's impossible to mess up! The price is very reasonable. I would recommend TurboTax to everyone.

Love the step by step help

I prefer to use Turbo tax every year. I feel safe and I know that I can always check on the side if I have any questions. Even though I have used Turbox Tax for years. I still love and trust it.
What's great about it: Always an explaination
What's not so great: non
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
