Best of the Rest

I used the flag feature this year for the first time. I would have liked to have an easy 800 number or direct access to a tax expert when a question was encountered.
What's great about it: Straight forward. Led me through all documents. I like comparison from year to year.
What's not so great: I would like to see an automatic "save" after each section so that I know the information is saved.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've been using TTax since the early 1990's with no problems. It ives e peace of mind.
What's great about it: Easy to use, even with new complications

Saved a headache!

Gone are the days when we used to spend hours and hours gathering the paperwork, doing calculations, and storing all the detail pages!
What's great about it: TurboTax does all the work
What's not so great: Was confused with HSA additions and deductions

Superior Software

I have been using TurboTax since 1997 (was it Parsons back then?) and I still let it guide me thru the process. I tried the forms once or twice but found the step-by-step far superior in catching little changes I might otherwise have missed. I can truly say I haven't had an experience I could complain about.
As someone who spent 25 years in the computing field, it is my opinion that TurboTax is one of the best designed and useable pieces of software I've come across.

Excellence Expected

Year after year taxes come, so does Turbo Tax. Taxes are getting worse, Turbo Tax is getting better. It is the best, fastest and safest way to file income tax.

I just e-filed for the third time. I talked to IRS reguarding the error messages I received and they could not give me an answer to state must have a value. They suggested I file by mail. If this submission is rejected that is what i'll do.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax and IRS are not compatible in 2012
