turbo tax makes doing taxes so much easier. i don't know what i would do with out it. My kids, nephews and nieces come to me for help with their taxes. i ain't no professional. i hate doing taxes but this makes me look good to them and gives me the confidence to do them right. Thank you turbo tax
What's great about it: made it so easy even having to file with other states
What's not so great: taxes are hard to comprehend not as bad with turbo tax wish they could make it easier

As always, easy and thorough. And I love seeing my risk rating way down. It really takes the worry out of filing my taxes! The It's Deductible download was frustrating - it told me 3 times I had the wrong UserID / password, but I had logged into It's Deductible more than once today with no problem. I opened it again, left it open, and tried the download and it worked.
What's great about it: Everything not listed in Cons
What's not so great: It's Deductible file download was an issue.

Fast, Easy, and Simple!!!!

Easy to understand and use. Help to IRS publications and online Quicken support is fast and informative. I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for over 10 years. Transfer of prior year return is instant!!!! E-file and refunds are quick,
What's great about it: Easy instructions, Audit protection, fast E-File, Help at your fingertips to IRS forms or questions
What's not so great: Slow to load, little more expensive than some other tax programs

Great Software

Easy to use and accurate - I have a friend who does taxes and he wanted to do mine - I had already purchased Turbo Tax so let him do them but ran it though the software and it caught things he did not know. He is now a user!!
What's great about it: Walks you through every step of filing your taxes

I have helped my parents file their taxes for several years now. This is really saying something because my father doesn't trust his personal information with just anyone and they have been pleased with the results from TurboTax. I have been pleased with how easy it is to fill out the forms.
What's great about it: Step-by-step walkthrough with easy links to explanations of unfamiliar terms.
What's not so great: Some confusing questions, but that's an issue with tax law-not TurboTax.

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now. It gets better every year!
What's great about it: just fill in the boxes and you are good to go!
What's not so great: It would be even easier if the tax law weren't so complicated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Walk thru is good.
What's not so great: IRS is way too complex. What a pain.
