Great product. I have been using TurboTax for several years and love it. I have a little trouble moving from one form to another , but I have so many. Sometimes I am not sure where to enter things. It might be easier to do the entire business at a time instead of moving on to other 1099's and then back to add information.
What's great about it: Easy to go back and forth to see answers
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to tell whose return i was working on

2012 Taxes

Overall great software. I had issues with form TC-01A for my Utah state taxes that was not corrected until a software update in April.
What's great about it: Explinations for all steps and forms
What's not so great: Needed software update to correct error
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

A wonderful experience - went so fast! Best way to file taxes without leaving home! Have used this for many years and will use it again!
What's great about it: Fast, extra easy, no hassle, knows the laws, and accurate!

I had corrected 1099D's come in after return was created but prior to filing. TuboTax did not update the return correctly when I downloaded the information from the internet. I was able to manually input the changes for a correct return.
What's great about it: Was able to work with Federal and 3 different states
What's not so great: My return took me 16 hours to complete
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

I'VE USED TURBO TAX FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I CONTINUE TO DO SO BECAUSE OF THE EASE OF COMPLETING MY RETURN WITH TURBO TAX AND FILING.

Did not file NYS return

No help. Filed Fed and NJ. Was holding off on NY. Program finished and chose to print NY taxes. NY must be electronic. Will not allow me to file NYS taxes electronically.
