Turbo Tax 2012 was great. Used it to file my parents return and it answered all the question I had going in. Such as 1) parents moved to a new state at mid year 2) my father paased away 3) correct address to use 4) filing status and 5) state split of income. It made my life much easier and helped me get the job done right for my mother.
What's great about it: Answered all the questions I had going in.

No easy way to get an answer to a program problem
What's great about it: fairly easy
What's not so great: impossible to alphabetize charitable contributions- we add each year and it always has to go on bottom

Still loving Turbo Tax!

I like the pop-ups that first explain briefly (sometimes that's all I need), and then you can decide whether you want additional information. AND if that doesn't work, you have someone to contact for additional information. The contact people are knowledgeable and courteous!
What's great about it: Walks you through the steps -- keeps the previous year data handy so I don't have to look it up.
What's not so great: No entry.

Easier than I thought!

I thought I had all my tax info together, but after I got started, I had to go back thru my paperwork to get more details (like exact dates, model of cars, etc.)
I do love Turbo Tax & plan on using it next year as well .. I'm glad out tax acct. retired so that we were forced to go with another option!
What's great about it: Very clear questions
What's not so great: I wish there was a list of what you needed to be handy

Perfect for seniors

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have faith that my tax forms are filled out and sent in correctly. Some local paid companies prepared wrong returns causing the customers a great deal of problems.
Since I have a simple form it is easy to go through the program and get help whenever I need it.
