I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 4 years and love it.
Before that I was paying a lot of money to tax preparers thinking that it was too difficult to do myself. Guess what - anyone with half a mind and that can follow directions can do their own taxes for very little money. Thank you Turbo Tax and all I can say is I wish I had trusted you sooner. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THEIR TAXES USING TURBO TAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quicken Easy!

I had put off plugging in that Turbo Tax CD long enough, and I had a full day off to deal with my 2012 taxes. But it took less than a half-day today before I moved on to something I enjoy!
I like going through the interview process. It asks questions that I don't think about, so I could go pull pertinent information and plug it in. I also love that I now can import my husband's W-2 from his major employer, as well as those tedious 1099-INT and DIV forms directly from my brokerage firm to minimize mistakes and make it so much quicker. Filing taxes is such a dreadful experience, but Turbo Tax makes it a lot less dreadful because it is fast and easy.

It was great. Slow going for a beginner but tackled it like a PRO. I would make a suggestion to Turbo Tax adding a little bit more detail of what Iowa State information is needed or where to find it. I tried to use Turbo Tax Community. Found others that had same questions but also were not answered.

I have used TurboTax for 5 years now. It is a great, well-written program. I reccomend it to all my friends and family.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Consitent year to year
What's not so great: Wish common items or applicable items were starred

In general, the software was easy to follow and had a logical progression.

except when i was looking for an answer to question i would have like to call to talk to instead look at questions others had and still not getting the clkairfaction i felt i needed
