FAST AND FURIOUS

Have been using Turbo Tax for a few years now and it is very simple to use. shows everything you need , and helps correct mistakes in the final review before filing.. Great product..

IRA Problem

The form accepts the total withdrawl from the IRA but does not allow the Roll over protion when it is repaid. At least I could not see where to put the rollover portion.
What's not so great: I had a problem showing a borrowed amount from my IRA and the payback in 60 days.

Awesome product

I hate going to people for help and like to do it myself. Turbo tax let's me do it with confidence. Been using the program for years now and it gets easier every year. It is just like setting down with someone except you do it when you have time. The program ask all the questions and you provide the answers. If you have to stop all you do is exit and start where you stopped at when you open it back up. The program saves the information for you, you don't even have to remember to hit a save button. It doesn't get much better than that. Love Turbo Tax and will never leave as a customer.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and convienent

A Boon for retirees with many income sources.

Many retirees with a comfortable but not excessive income have numerous small investments and other sources of income that are relatively time consuming to enter. Your accountant would likely charge you by the hour for this, negating some of your profit. Why not take the next step? You have to arrange affairs for your accountant anyway. Turbo Tax makes it easy. Plus you get a better understanding of how different income is taxed separately. One of these years I might even understand AMT.
What's great about it: Easy to follow.
What's not so great: Can't re-arrange entries (1099s) alphabetically

I really like turbo tax and have used it for the past 5 years to do my taxes and other family members and friends taxes.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance
What's not so great: Sometimes things didn't show up like last year and it was confusing

I have used Turbo Tax now for over 10 years. It is far superior to preparing the taxes manually. Sometimes I have trouble answering the quesitons, because I do not understand the question. Usually, I can figure it out by answering it, and then going to the forms to see how it looks.
Depreciation has given me some problems, but I eventually figure it out. I e-mailed my taxes this year and it was rejected. It took three times before I figured out what was wrong. Right now I am confused as to whether I should get something from the IRS about my efile. I have used the tax community to get some answers.
I will continue to use Turbo Tax
