better than ever

I continue to look forward to purchasing Turbo tax each year. It has never let me down. I do multiple returns for my family.
What's great about it: multiple returns with no errors
What's not so great: sometimes too repetitive

I was particularly impressed with the tax assistance when I called in for support. He was helpful, friendly, and concise and to the point with his advice. The step by step approach is very easy to follow and understand; the prompting questions insure everything is covered.
What's great about it: I like the guided approach to insure nothing was forgotten.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy as Pie!

Turbo Tax was GREAT! My taxes; federal and two states, were done in less than 2 hours. It was simple, quick and easy to understand. Turbo Tax guides me right through each question and step to see if I qualify for anything and it asks questions that I would never have realized on my own. I use it every year.
What's great about it: Very simple to do. Walked me through everything.
What's not so great: The cost of a second state.

So Easy!

We have used Turbo Tax for the last 3 years--it is so easy and simple. Takes me about 20 minutes and my taxes are filed and my refund on the way!
What's great about it: Fast, Easy and worth the money
What's not so great: I can't really think of any

From the very start Turbo Tax is user friendly and won't let you mess up! Quick and easy to use.

Not needed

Did not save me a nickel. Have done my own returns for decades and will do so again in the future. Had to do a lot to typing that I could have done in the free IRS version. Because I have not had more kids than I can afford and I have not purchased a home that I can not afford I always use the standard deduction. Waste of money.
What's great about it: a dummy can use this
What's not so great: cost was excessive and charged extra to file state return

I had started my return and had completed all the federal stuff. Our computer got a virus and when we had it cleaned we lost all the imput information. I had to re-enter my info and that went very quickly but I discovered a mistake that I had made that decreased my tax liability some. The more you use turbo tax the easier and faster it gets. One area that was hard to understand was the credit for points paid on a refinance. I think that you should add that as a separate item because it has a separate line on the 1098.
What's great about it: Love that I can import last years stuff. Fairly easy to navigate
What's not so great: Don't like having to go to the begining; would like a few more jump in spots so that if I leave off I can easily jump in

Taxes Completed With Ease

It's so easy. You just answer the questions and Turbo Tax does all the work. I used to spend hours calculating, reading IRS publications, and then typing it all by hand. It was a nightmare!
What's great about it: Guides you through all the deductions available.
What's not so great: I have not found any in all the years I've used Turbo Tax.
