I have used turbo tax for several years I understand it, I like it and I will most likely continue to use it
What's great about it: help I got on the phone on how to amend
What's not so great: my computer crashed and I could not get my last years return

BEST TAX PROGRAM EVER

Overall Turbo Tax is the best ever! Always dreaded tax time but now I don't - TT makes it easy and simple - except for printing Would rather just say Print to Printer,
What's great about it: Have used for several years Takes me right through simply and with ease.
What's not so great: had trouble figuring out printing - PDF Dont remember it having to save to PDF last year (I'm no expert! LOL)

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and like that it carries forward the appropriate information into the next tax year. Saves having to input date.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions make it so easy anyone can follow them
What's not so great: State forms are not all included

I did not think it did as good a job as laast year and I felt it came up with error messages when I did not make the errors.
What's great about it: Transferred info from last years return
What's not so great: Did not print ILL Form 1299-c and other minor problems

Turbo Tax makes tax time a little less painful!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and find it to be easy to use and practical. I like the fact that the software walks you through the process step by step and helps me save money by preparing my own tax returns - as long as there is nothing complicated in a given year!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: nothing

Excellent tool

Works well but could be a bit better at simple reviews. Have a college age child and must get info for the FAFSA early in the year. Especially this year, means had to estimate some income before forms were available from sources. Final review always found the fields to fix, but it would have been nice to have a handy way to see this in a revisit. Have used TT for years because it works. Really love the fact that I can e-file 3 returns for free. Nice touch.
What's great about it: Consistent from year to year; handles most things seamlessly
What's not so great: Estimated values not obvious on forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

There! That's Done; Quickly, Easily, Efficiently

The best thing about TurboTax is always knowing exactly where you are in the preparation of your returns. It's easy to go back and review, and nothing is lost if you do so (some programs wipe everything if you move backwards). I also like the info windows when uncertain about a category or question being asked. All in all, a great program for an unquestionably unpleasant task; filing of taxes.
What's great about it: Asking if anything's changed since last year after importing last year's information.

No Longer Afraid of Filing My Taxes!!

TurboTax is quick and efficient. The Its Deductible program that helps you calculate the clothing/toy type of donations to local charities is fantastic! The audit risk meter gives me piece of mind about my calculations throughout the process as well. I've been using it for 5 years now and its the only software I would recommend to the person or family that chooses to file there own taxes! Thanks Turbo tax !!
