Easy as Pie (almost)

Only one issue where it calculated the state tax liability - the lines it used seemed incorrect, and assumed I had not paid any state taxes the prior year (did not include line 31) which results in a huge penalty. I actually received a refund from the state that year. When I manually changed the figure to the correct value the penalty went away.
What's great about it: Imports and filing were easy
What's not so great: Encountered one glitch (see below)

Great Refund

TurboTax is an easy to use program. It covers every deduction possible and figures everything for you. All you need to do is gather your final numbers for input. Anyone can do this, even if you have never used TurboTax before. BEST tax program out there!
What's great about it: Easy to use anyone can do it! Figures everything for you, eFile is great!
What's not so great: We have to pay for State Filing.

I've used this several years, but as I get older and the taxes are more complicated, I may use an accountant. But so far I'm pleased.

i have used Turbo Tax for many years. i have friends who pay accountants every year because they do not take the time to understand the laws and IRS regulations. they always wonder what i do that makes my filing so much simpler and so much less exspensive. Easy answer is Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: simple straightforward and eliminates the foolishness
What's not so great: you make decisions you are responsbile

I love the suport with quick window help boxes - easy to understand explanations - good reminders of what to deduct and like comparrison to previous years taxes.

Sick of taxes

I have been using turbotax for many years. It is user friendly and easy. I have had trouble with the taxation on my retirement pension. I would love to see this section "cleaned up" and make it as user freindly as the rest of the sections!
What's great about it: Mostly easy to follow along.

Have used your program for years. Find it easy to follow. I like the fact that it compares last years to this years numbers. It also has great partnerships with major companies, so it is easy to down load all the necessary documents. Keep up the good work.
