Overakk very favorable. Love the easy guiod. When you have capital gains this section is sometimes hard to follow

I have used TurboTax since the first release many many years ago. It has always been easy to use and easy to obtain the tax updates as the tax season progresses. Hightly recommend it to anyone -- from the easy return filers to the complicated return filers -- it fits all users !!!!

Fun with TurboTax

TurboTax is thorough & does the math, but it is overly cumbersome & sometimes won't do what I want it to do without some slow & complicated steps.
Another problem doing this review: I have tried 3 times to get a nickname & it won't take any of my tries. OK now my 4th try.

this product is very well done and user friendly. The help index and professional help are most useful. Overall, I would rate Turbo Tax a 9.5 out of 10
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, good audit check.
What's not so great: slow to load sometimes

Installation was simple and foolproof, acquisition of previous year's data was smooth and transparent, gathering of this year's data was simple, including accessing data directly from several financial institutions. Handling of deductions went well. The only problem encountered was the way in which TT interpreted the information on Ginny May Bonds

What's not so great: Poor handling of Ginny Mays

Amazingly Simple n Fast!

TurboTax has saved me time and money! No more trips to the box store with all my paper work.. leaving with so much less of my refund in fees. Everything is asked for with detail so you can be sure your getting everthing in the right place and your getting all the deductions available.
What's great about it: Lots of pop-up boxes if your not sure of any part!
What's not so great: 4 years in and still haven't found any!

Continues to Amaze

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe since 1994 and it continues to be an outstanding product. I purchase a disc each year & load this on my hard drive. Some of the outstanding features are that it will access your previous years file automatically when the latest version is loaded. The Easy Guide is very easy to follow. There is help files available. Printing the return and supporting documents works without any problems.
Would like to see some improvement in the Partnership K-1 entries. Pop-up explanations would be helpful in some of the line item entries.
Overall it continues to be a great product.
