Although I ended up owing money Turbo Tax is very easy to use and walks you through all the steps you need to find proper deductions and more importantly file correctly.
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive

Every year TurboTax gets better. I have been using it for about 10 years.

TurboTax still does an excellent and accurate job on my federal return. I was always able to do the simple state return for free and mail it in. The fees wanted to do my state return are ridiculous. I now get less value for the same money I paid in previous years. TurboTax just lost a customer of several years.
What's great about it: federal still excellent
What's not so great: pay excessively for state??

Turbo-tax makes a very unpleasant take as good as it can be.

Losing It and Getin It Back!

Easy to follow... very comprehensive worksheets. Liked the summaries available for year to year comparisons, and averages with all other returns submitted. Liked the audit probability graph.
What's great about it: choices and comparisons
What's not so great: Some glitches in accepting charitable deduction values vs estimates
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
