My first time using TT

I had difficulties making my payment so I called customer service and received excellent care on the phone. This was the first time I have used Turbo Tax and will be using in the future.
What's great about it: Very simplified questions.
What's not so great: Could not process my payment via credit card.

It took too long

This year, it took me over six hours to complete my filing during three separate attempts to get it done. If I decide to go to a tax preparer, and they do it in one hour.
Reviewing and comparing what I filed the year before helps with understanding what I will need to file this year. For example, I never been in the military, and I am over forty years old--I don't expect to be going into the armed forces any time soon. I appreciate all our veterans do, but please cut out all of those questions if they don't pertain to me. On the other hand, if I have dependents--thank you for making sure I get all of the items needed to claim childcare expenses and the appropriate deductions.
One other thing--not sure why this didn't flow--but I was almost tagged as single--rather than head of household. I've taken this designation for several years now. If I had not reviewed the actual files, I would not have caught this. Now, this may not be a big deal in the overall scheme of things, but I know I take an extra deduction in my taxes. Not sure why this very important designation would have changed.
All in all, I appreciate what this tool provides--an easier way for common people to file their taxes without having to hire a tax advisor. My only concern this year, is keeping my fingers crossed I did not miss anything else on my filing......and the fact that it took so long to fill out the forms and skip through pages just saying "no".
What's great about it: Year to Year comparison
What's not so great: Too many pages of extra stuff

I have been using turbo tax for approximately 10 - 12 years and have fond it easy to enter data. Sometimes I have difficulty in going forward and back to find a particular line item. A sidebar cheat sheet would be helpful in maneuvering through th eforms.
What's great about it: self correcting and self editing whe you make one correction it makes teh necessary other corrections
What's not so great: sometimes it is diffiicult to find a particular item to insert data.

Turbo Tax does it again!

I have been using Turbo Tax to file both my Federal and state income taxes since 1998 and I dread having to do it any other way.
What's great about it: Ease of use and confidence in results.

Easy and Fast

Since our taxes are fairly straightforward I find Turbo Tax to be really helpful. If our tax situation becomes more complex I would be willing to try it again before going to an accountant for this service.
What's great about it: You can do it yourself within an hour or two.
What's not so great: None at this time

Taxing Made Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for several years to help me through my personal taxes as well as my Mother's taxes (which involve farm rental, investment income, large medical deductions and assisted living etc). Turbo has made the process managable.
What's great about it: Easy Guide through process
