Best way to do your own taxes!

I've been using TurboTax for years. It's so easy, I've never had any problems. I will continue to use TurboTax year after year.
What's great about it: So easy, the software walks you through everything.

I have been using TurboTax for over 15 years. Every year I am pleased with the product. The ease of use and the peace of mind knowing that all of the calculations are correct and any possible refund is maximized.
What's great about it: Easy to use. The step by step appoach means everything is done right.

Scary moments

The best thing about the program is that it knew what tax documents I had and where they should go. I highlighted the names of the documents and when the program said do you have blah blah I did and then the program took care of it. It was scary when I was putting house information in without completing the whole process the program recalculated my return and of course that's when my wife asked how things are going and saw that we owed $41,000. It took a few more minutes and we were back to reasonable and then did deductions and we got a return that we loved.
What's great about it: detailed explanations even for a tax delinquent like myself.
What's not so great: Adjusted my return on the fly. At the part when my wife looked at results we owed $41,000 according to the program.

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 years and it has never failed me. Step by step process is the best with explanations all along the way.

My TurboTax Experience

This years version seemed to be somewhat more clunky. Although I had filed using TurboTax last year the online site didn't have my return stored, thankfully I had one saved so that the data could be transferred
What's not so great: not enough simple terminology, not enough explanation 1098T
