"Filing Like A Tax Star"

The readability and terminology were great. I am no CPA but I completed my returns "like a Rock Star CPA". Thanks TURBOTAX for keeping it simple.
What's great about it: Easy yo follow prompts and accurate calculations in every step!
What's not so great: Importing from Turbotax online to my purchased Turbotax software my prior year's return.

2012 Tax Return

My only concern was where it asked about "Active" military status. It does not define "Active" and I'm concerned that there is a difference between Active Duty #full time military# and Active Resrvists.
What's great about it: Walking through all the forms

Great program

I would rather there not be so many versions or levels of your program, maybe just pay a little more and not have to upgrade for areas like rentals. Overall I am very pleased with the program and have talked my son and son-in-law in using it too. Come to think about it, just about everyone I talk to about taxes, I conclude with use "turboTax". Keep up the good work.

Electronic roadkill successfully files her own tax

Even this computer challenged filer was able to get through the taxing experience because Turbo Tax saves your info so you can stop, search for documentation and return without worrying the program will time out and erase. It used to cost me 20 times what i paid for the program and had less good results. Thanks Turbo Tax for simplifying my life and saving me money.
What's great about it: Pretty simple when mistakes are pointed out so they can be corrected
What's not so great: Had a hard time printing a copy

Nice and simple, but I'm boring

Loved every bit, except that with the convoluted tax code, there are a ton of feeler questions which make no sense at all to this simpleton with very few special circumstances. But it keeps me from having to find a tax "guy" and I'm not worrying if I've missed anything. Use it year after year (on the same computer) and it only gets easier as half the stuff is filled out for you!
What's great about it: Super easy and thorough, especially if nothing's changed since last year
What's not so great: It's taxes... no real way around that
